HOMEMADE SARDIN



HOMEMADE SARDIN
This recipe is from my friend's blog DARI DAPUR ORANG KAMPUNG.

700gm tuna,remove head and cut into medium pieces.
 
1/2 cup tomato puree
 
1/2 cup cooking oil
 
21/2 cup water
 
Salt and sugar to taste

Grind to a paste

25gm garlic
80gm shallots
20gm ginger

1. Heat a pressure cooker with oil and add the paste fry until fragrant.
 
2. Add in the tomato puree and stir fry until the oil rise.
 
3. Add in the water,salt and sugar  let it boil.
 
4. Add the fish and cover the pressure cooker and cook until the first whistle.
 
5. Lower the heat and let it cook for 1 hour
 
6. When cool open the pressure cooker and remove the fish. Now your sardin is ready.It will
taste better if keep overnight.
