COFFEE WALNUT CAKE

 
 
COFFEE WALNUT CAKE
 
90 gm butter
 
180 gm castor sugar
 
100 gm beaten eggs
 
150 gm superfine flour*
 
1/2 unlevelled tsp baking powder*
 
1/2 unlevelled tsp baking soda*
 
1 tsp vanilla essence
 
1/2 cup coffee, Mix 1 pkt of 3 in 1 coffee with warm
water and let it cool.
 
100 gm chopped walnuts
 
Sift together*
 
Greased and line a 15cm round cake tin
 
1. Beat the sugar and butter until light.  Beat in the beaten eggs in 2 batches beat well.
 
2. Fold in (don't use the beater use a whisk ) flour little by little alternate with the coffee.
 
3. Fold in the vanilla and chopped walnut. Bake in 160c until done.
