made on 15.3.25. very good
Bottom layer
1 cup rice flour
2 tablespoons corn flour or green pea flour
1 cup sugar (reduce a little)
2 cups water
1/2 cup pandan juice (blender from 10 pandan leaves)
1/2 salt
1 tablespoon clear lime water or air abu (optional)
½ tsp green coloring
Combine all the ingredients for the bottom..strain into a pot..cook briefly on the stove using low heat until steam rises. Stir constantly..
Pour the mixture into an 8-inch tray that has been lined with plastic & brushed with a little oil. Steam for 20 minutes..use medium heat
after 20 minutes, open the steamer and steam for another 5 minutes using high heat (without closing the steamer).. then scratch the surface of the cake a little..
Top layer (white color)
3 cups thick coconut milk ( I use 200ml pkt coconut milk mix with 3 cup water
1 cup rice flour
2 1/2 tablespoons plain flour
1 teaspoon salt (let it be a little salty)
How to make
Combine all the ingredients for the top...strain into a pan cook for a while using low heat until steam rises. Stir constantly.
Pour the white mixture over the green part just now...steam for 20 minutes...use medium heat.
after 20 min open the steamer and steam for another 5 minutes using high heat (without closing the steamer)...
Ready...let it cool completely then cut it using a plastic knife..
