BEETROOT CHUTNEY



BEETROOT CHUTNEY

150gm beetroot,clean and chop

100gm freshly grated coconut

50 gm onion,chop

2 cm ginger

1-2 green chili,add more if you like it hot

1 stalk kari leaves

Lime juice and salt to taste

3-4 tbsp. oil


1. Heat oil and add in the onion,chili,ginger and curry leaves and fry until fragrant.

2. Add in the  beetroot and fry until well mix and fragrant. Add in the coconut  and mix well fry until hot that all. Remove from the wok and let it cool.

3. Blend all the ingredients with a little water  into a thick paste. Add in lime juice and salt to your taste. Serve with rice or bread.
