FRIED TAPIOCA

500 gm tapioca, remove skin and the middle stem. and boil till cooked. don’t over cook till soft.

60 gm ikan bilis, if you like

1 big onion, sliced

5-4 dry chilies, broken

4 garlic, chopped

½ cup grated coconut

1 cup water

1 tsp mustard seeds

1 tsp urad dhal

1 tsp fennel seeds

2 spring kari leaves

5-6 tbsp oil

salt to taste

1.   Cool the cooked tapioca and chopped into pieces.

2.   . Heat oil and when the oil is hot add in the mustard seeds. and  let it crack. then add in the urad dhal and  the fennel seeds and mix well. add the dry chilies, onion, ikan bilis ,garlic and kari leaves mix well.

3.   Add in coconut and salt mix well the add in the tapioca. mix well and add in the water. stir well and let it cook. when the water  dries up. Remove from the heat. and serve hot with black coffee.
