CAKE SARANG SEMUT

 

CAKE SARANG SEMUT 


Ingredients: 

1 cup white sugar 

1 cup hot water 

3 tablespoons butter 

Sugar is fried over medium-high heat. When the sugar is slightly melted and turn light brown add hot water (be careful because it will explode. Anyway, turn off the heat & quickly add the hot water while holding the lid of the pan. Then add the butter and stir until the butter melts. Set aside. 

4 eggs 

3/4 cup condensed milk 

1 cup wheat flour 

2 teaspoons bicarbonate soda 

1 teaspoon vanilla essence 

Method:

1. Beat the eggs until fluffy & thick. 

2. Then, add the condensed milk - Mixer until smooth 

3. Add the flour & bicarbonate soda that were previously sifted. 

4. Pour in the vanilla essence 

5. Finally, add the burnt sugar. Stir and combine. 

6. Take a baking dish and spread a little butter all over it. 

7. Line the entire baking paper or just the bottom 

8. Spread butter on the baking paper and add the mixture. 

9. Oven@microwave must be preheated to 180c for 15 minutes. 

10. Then add mix into the microwave and bake for 40 minutes. 

11. If you want to marinate this mixture, marinate for 3 to 4 hours (Covered) To get a beautiful nest 

NOTE: I pour 2 tbsp of the batter into a greased small moulds and steam for 20 mints on a high flame. You get 31 pieces.
