AYAM MASAK MINANG
1 chicken,cut into medium pieces
1 inch galangal
1 inch ginger
½ inch fresh turmeric
2 big onion
4 cloves garlic
5 buah keras
12 dried chilies,remove seeds
4 chilie padi
4 serai
1 turmeric leaves
5 kaffir lime leaves
Chopped all the above ingredients
And blend with little water into a paste
2 cup thick coconut milk
1 cup water
1 chicken cube
2 pieces of asam gelugor
1 tbsp of sugar
Salt to taste
¼ cup oil
3 kaffir lime leaves and serai
1. Clean the chicken and drain. Heat the oil and add in the blend paste and stir fry till the oil rise.
2. Add in the chicken and stir add in the salt, sugar and chicken cube mix will and cook till the chicken juice comes out add in 1 cup of water and let the chicken cook.
3. Then add in the asam and the coconut milk and 3 whole kaffir lime leaves and 2 serai and let it cook till the oil rise and the gravy thick. Serve with rice
