RAVA NEI URUNDAI


RAVA NEI URUNDAI

1 cup semolina( rava), dry roast till light brown

60 gm cashew nuts, dry roast till light brown

2 tbsp milk powder

2-4 cardamom

¼ cup sugar,

¼ tsp salt

4 tbsp ghee

10 gm roasted cashew nuts, chopped into small pieces

10 gm raisin, sliced into small pieces

1.    Grind the rava, sugar, cardamom, cashew nuts and milk powder into a fine powder.

2.    Put the grinded powder in a bowl add in the chopped cashew nuts and raisin mix well. Hot the ghee when the ghee is hot pour into the rava mixture and mix well with a spoon. When t is cool a bit .

3.    Try making into small balls. When you press together a lump of the  rava mixture and it stays together as a lump roll into small balls. If it is crumbly then add in some ghee. Try not to add lot of ghee. Store in a airtight tin.
