TALAM MARBLE


 TALAM MARBLE

A

100 gm green pea flour

110 gm sugar

4 cups pandan juice, blend 4 pandan leaves and take the juice add water to make 4 cups (250ml cup)

Green coloring

Salt to taste

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and keep aside.

B

100 gm green pea flour

110 gm sugar

4 cups coconut milk

Salt to taste

Mix all the ingredients in bowl and keep aside

1.    Get ready 2 pans pour the white batter in one pan and the green batter into another pan. You need another person to help you because you need to cook at the same time.

2.    Over a medium heat cook string the mixture till thickened and translucent.

3.    When mixture is cooked pour into a grease ( with oil ) 18cm square cake tin. Pour the white one first then follow by the white layer. Using a spoon to stir for a marble effect. 

4.    Let it cool before cutting into pieces.

NOTE; green pea flour is tepung hoen kwee. Add more sugar if you like it very sweet.
