AVARAIKAI
FRIED WITH COCONUT
250 gm
avaraikai,cut into small pieces
50 gm grated
coconut
40 gm
anchovies/ikan bilis, coarsely pounded.optional
1 cup water
Salt to
taste,if needed
2 tbsp oil
1 big
onion,finely sliced*
2 red
chili,sliced*
1 stalk kari
leaves*
1 tsp
ulutham parupu*
1 tsp mustard
seeds*
1.
Heat
the oil and add the ingredients mark* and fry till the onion turn light brown.

Add
in the anchovies and mix well add the vegetable and mix well and add in the
water.
3.
Let
it boil and cook till the water dries up. Taste and see if you need to add in
the salt if need then add in .
4.
Add
in the coconut and mix well and fry for one minutes. Remove from the heat.
