FRIED AVARAIKAI WITH BELACAN
200gm avaraikai,cut into two
30gm ikan billis or fresh prawns if using prawn add more.
2-3 tbsp water
2-3 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
Grind to a paste
1 big onion
4 cloves garlic
1-2 red chilli
2cm belacan
1 tsp chilli powder
1. Heat the oil and saute the grind ingredients until fragrant.
2. Add in the water and ikan billis and stir well.
3. Add in the avaraikai and fry until cooked.
