FISH SOTHI
1 litre coconut milk
2 tomatoes,cut in wedges
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 piece tamarind peel (asam gelugor) if you like it sour.
Salt to taste
For tempering(A)
1 onion,finely sliced
2 chilli's red or green,slit into two
2cm ginger,sliced finely
2 lemon grass,smashed
1 stalk kari leaf
1/2 tsp cumins
1/2 tsp fenugreek
Oil
1. Heat the oil and add in A and fry until fragrant.
2. When the onion turn light brown add in the turmeric and add the coconut milk,fish,tomato,tamarind peel(if you are adding) and salt stir well.
3. And let it comes to a boil and when the fish is cook. Remove from the heat. And serve with rice.
