BRAISED CHICKEN FEET WITH MUSHROOM

BRAISED CHICKEN FEET WITH MUSHROOMS

10 pieces chicken feet
6 dried mushrooms,soaked and halved
3-4 dried chillies,cut into 2
1-2 tbsp sesame oil
1.2 litre water mix with 1 cube chicken stock.
4 slices ginger
(A)
4cm cinnamon stick
2 star anise
4 cloves
4cm liquorice,optional
(B)
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp thick soy sauce
1 tbsp sugar

1. Deep fry chicken feet in hot oil until it turn brown. Remove and rinse under running water until oil is removed. Soak in water for haft an hour.
2. Heat sesame oil and fry ginger and dried chillies for 30-40 seconds. Add A and continue to fry until fragrant.
3. Add mushrooms,chicken feet and B pour in water. Bring to a boil then reduce the heat and simmer until  chicken feet is tender and gravy is reduced.
