SAMBAL TAU FOO
6 pieces tau foo,cut into 4 cubes with salt and fry till light brown,set a side.
1 cup water
Some tamarind juice to your taste
Salt and sugar to your taste
7-6 tbsp oil
Blend into a paste
12 dry chilis,remove seeds and soaked
9 shallots
4 garlic
2cm ginger
3 serai
Note: If you are not a vegetarian you can add 2 cm belacan.
1. Blend the ingredient into a paste. Heat oil and add the paste and fry till fragrant and the oil rise.
2. Add the water and tau foo stir well. Add salt and sugar if like it more sour add tamarind juice.
3. Let it simmer till thick. Remove from the heat and serve with rice.
