TAU FOO FRIED WITH SWEET SOY SAUCE


 
TAU FOO FRIED WITH SWEET SOY SAUCE
 
 
5 pieces tau foo,cut into 4 and fry till light brown
 
1/2 cup sweet thick soy sauce
 
1/3 tsp aji no moto
 
2 stick cinnamon
 
2 star anise
 
2 stalk kari leaves
 
4 tbsp oil
 
To be grind into a paste:
 
1 big onion
 
3 garlic
 
10 dry chili,seeds remove and soaked
 
1 stalk serai
 
1 in ginger
 
1/2 in lengkuas
 
1 medium tomato
 
  Heat the oil and add in the cinnamon stick ,star anise and karileaves. Fry till fragrant add in the grind paste and fry until the oil rise. Add in the soya sauce and aji na moto mix well. Add in the tau foo and stir well. Cook till the oil rise. Serve with hot rice.
