PULUT DAKAP
- 300g glutinous rice - wash and soak for 1 hour then drained
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 300g coconut milk
- 6-7 ripe pisang abu- quartered
- banana leaves and rubber bend (to wrap and tie)

How to make pulut dakap
- Mix glutinous rice, salt and coconut milk in a medium saucepan.
- bring to a boil over medium heat
- Then reduce to a simmer, stirring constantly until rice absorb all the coconut milk
- Put aside to cool.
- Wash, wipe dry and cut banana leaf into a rectangular shape (15cm by 25cm)
- Place 2 tablespoon rice on banana leaf
- Place banana on top of rice
- Wrap, enclose and fold the filled banana leaf
- Tie 2 filled banana parcels (with folded together...as in photo above)
- Steam for 30 minutes
