FRIED CHEESE BALLS


FRIED CHEESE BALL


11/2 cup self raising flour mix with
1/2 tsp baking powder and sifted.

100 gm grated chedder cheese

3 tbsp full Castor sugar ( Don't add more it must not be very sweet)

1 tbsp powder milk

2 pinch salt

Enough water to mix

Chedder cheese cut into small cubes

Oil for deep frying


1. In a bowl mix flour,milk,salt,sugar and the grated cheese.

2. Add in water little by little until it forms into a thick dough (see picture) Don"t over mix.

3. Heat oil. When the oil is hot. Wet your hands with water and take a bit of the dough and put I pieces of the cube cheese inside and drop it into the hot oil. Reduces the heat and fry the cheese ball until  cook and light brown.

4. Made sure you wet you hand everytime you take the dough. Serve the cheese ball hot with coffee or tea.

  1. Can we freeze it after making balls and fry whenever we want like nuggets etc??
