TAPIOCA
FLOUR KUIH LAPIS
375 gm
tapioca flour
175 gm plain
flour
200 gm sugar
5 cup of
coconut milk from 1 coconut
½ tsp salt
1 tsp rose
essence
Food colour
of your choice
1 8x8 square
tin, grease with oil and line with plastic sheets
1. Mix ing bowl combine the 2
flours,sugar and salt together. Add in the coconut milk and mix well without
any lumps. Strain the batter in another bowl.
2. Divide the batter into 7 parts each
250 ml. And add any food colour you like.
3. Heat a steamer with water and when
the water is boiling. Put the cake tin in the steamer and pour 1 cup of the
batter and let it cook for 5 minutes or till cook. Continue till you finish all
the batter.
4. Let it cool before cutting.
