KULAMBU( FISH CURRY )

150 gm big
onion,cut into big pieces
200 gm
tomato,cut into big pieces
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbps oil
Heat a pan
and add in the oil. When the oil is hot add in the cumins and fry till light
brown the add in the onion and mix well. Then add in the tomato and fry till
the onion is a bit soft. Remove from the heat and let it cool. Then grind into
a paste without adding any water. Keep a side.

coriander powder
½ tbsp
turmeric powder
For
tempering:
5 tbsp oil
½ tbsp
mustard seeds
1 tsp
fenugreeks
100 gm small
onion,finely sliced
1 green
chilie,sliced into 2
10 garlic,
sliced
2 stalk
curry leafs
½ kg any
fish you like
50 gm tamarind,squeeze in ½ cup water
3 cup water
Salt to
taste
1. Heat a pan with oil when the oil is
hot add in the mustard seeds and fenugreeks let it fry. Then add in the onions
and mix well.
2. Then add in the garlic and green
chilie stir well. Add in the curry leafs and stir till fragrant.
3. Add in the grind masala and salt mix
well for 1 mint. Then add in A mix well and pour in the tamarind juice and
water mix well. Cover and cook till it comes to a boil. And the oil rise a bit.
4. Add in the fish and mix well cover
and cook till the fish is cooked and the gravy is a bit thick. Serve with rice.
