KUIH BAHULU

2 eggs large

125 gm castor sugar

1 tsp vanilla essence

125 gm plain flour, sifted twice

Kuih bahulu mould

Margarine for greasing

1.   Break eggs into a bowl and beat for a minute until frothy.

2.   Add sugar and continue to beat for a further 5=6 minutes or until egg mixture is light pale and thick. Beat in vanilla essence.

3.   Gently fold in the flour in two batches. takng care not to overmix. Fill bahulu moulds with the mixture, up to the level of the surface.

4.   Bake in preheated oven at 200c for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and cool on wire rack. Store in airtight containers.
