GOURD FRIED WITH COCONUT

GOURD FRIED WITH COCONUT


550gm gourd,remove the skin and cut into small cubes

100gm grated coconut

20gm dried prawn,soaked and pound coarsely. optional

Salt to taste

For tempering

1 big onion,finely sliced

3 green cillis,sliced

2 stalk kari leaves

1 tsp mustard seeds

1 tsp ulutham parupu

3 tbsp oil

1. Heat the oil and add in the tempering ingredient's. And fry until fragrant. Add in the dried prawns and stir well.

2. Add in the gourd and salt stir fry until cook (don't add water) Lastly add in the coconut and stir well for 3 mints. Remove from the heat. Serve.
