You can add brinjal or ladies fingers if you like.
5cm lengkuas,sliced thinly (this is the most important ingredient in Singgang)
3-4 asam keping (tamarind peels)
3-4 green chilis or red chilli,sliced
6 cups of water (250 ml cup)
1 ikan bilis cube if you like
Salt to taste
1. Put A in a pot and bring to boil. Add the fish and the vegetable if you like
2. Cook until the fish and vegetable is cooked. Singgang taste better after a few hours.
