SWEET AND SOUR FOO CHUK
In case you cannot get wet foo chuk you can replace it with taufoo.
300 gm wet foo chuk cut into 4,or 5 pieces tau foo cut into 4. And fry until golden brown.
150 gm cucumber,sliced
100 gm carrot,sliced and 1/2 cooked
1 big onion,sliced into big pieces
2 green or red chili if you like it hot. But I didn't add.
2 cm ginger,pounded
3 tbsp oil
4 tbsp tomato sauce
4 tbsp chili sauce
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp vegetarian oyster sauce
1 tbsp corn flour
Salt if needed, I did'n add
1 cup water
1. Heat the oil and fry the ginger and garlic until fragrant.
2. Add in the mix sauce and stir well. Let it cames to a boil .
3. Add in the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Let it cook for a mint don't let it over cooked.
Remove from the heat. Serve hot with rice.
