VEGETARIAN PRAWN SAMBAL
150 gm vegetarian prawn,sliced into 2
150 gm petai
1/2 cup chili sauce
2 tbsp vegetarian oyster sauce,or to taste
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup oil
I didn't add any salt
Blend to a fine paste:
10 dry chili,remove seeds and soaked
( I use the big type of dry chili see picture and I only use 7 of those. This chili is not very hot and it got a very nice red colour)
80 gm shallots,sliced
2 lemon grass (serai)
1. Heat oil and add in the blend paste and fry until the oil rise.
2. Add in the chili sauce,oyster sauce,prawns and water mix well and cook until the oil rise.
3. Add in the petai and mix well. Remove from the heat. I don't like to over cook the petai. Serve hot with rice.
