ASAM REBUS BENDI
300 gm ladies finger,cut into 2
30 gm anchovies'
1 litre water
Tamarind to your taste,mix with the water and sieve.
1 cube ikan bilis stock
1 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Pounded coarsely
2 cm lengkuas
3 cm ginger
3-4 green chili,or to your taste
5 shallots
3 garlic
Pour the tamarind water in a pot and add in the pounded ingredients,anchovies,turmeric powder and the ikan bilis stock mix well. Heat it up bring to a boil. Add in the ladies finger and let it boil when the ladies fingers are cooked remove from the heat and serve hot with rice.
